Senior Software Application Engineer - Wireless - Netherlands

A low power wireless data communication company based in the Netherlands is seeking a senior software engineer to join their applications engineering team. In order to be suitable for this role you will need to have a strong background in embedded software and Linux, as well as some prior experience in a customer facing role.

The company's technology is based around Zigbee and wireless networking so you will ideally have some knowledge in this subject area. The role will involve international travel to client sides to support them with any queries and issues they may have.

Skill set required:

* MSc in Electronic Engineering or related subject
* Experience in customer support
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Embedded Software
* Strong C programming skills
* Python
* Experience working with embedded Linux
* Knowledge of hardware development methods
* Co-debugging software and hardware
* Wireless communications experience
