Cable Design Engineer

AEI Cables is a successful well established company and a leading manufacturer of a wide range of electric cables including Power, Defence, Fire Protection, Oil and Gas, and Rail Transportation.

We are actively seeking to appoint keen and enthusiastic individuals to join the technical team at our manufacturing facility in Birtley, Co Durham.

Cable Design Engineer

AEI Cable Design Engineers cover all aspects of electrical cable design, cable testing and new cable development to meet the specific needs of customers across all market sectors. Liasing with internal and external customers to provide technical support and advice is a key aspect of the role. The successful candidate will be qualified in Electrical Engineering to a minimum standard of HND or equivalent and will ideally have several years of
experience within the cable or power supply industries. Consideration will also be given to recently qualified applicants or applicants with particularly relevant industrial experience.
