Experienced Advice Worker Trainee
£14,013–£15,598 p.a. (35hrs p/w)
You will need energy, an eagerness to visit people in their homes, an aptitude for the law, and preferably some experience of giving welfare rights or debt advice in an advice centre.

Our projects
Welfare rights
Our team of 12 welfare rights advisers last year visited over 3000 people and represented clients at nearly 400 appeal tribunals. They helped people obtain just under £5 million in additional benefits.
Debt Advice
Our team of 4 debt advisers last year made over 1000 visits, and dealt with over 3500 debt issues. They have particular expertise in dealing with rent arrears, bailiffs, bankruptcies, and council tax issues.
Money Advice
Raise leads a partnership which includes 3 CAB partners, funded by the Money advice Service (national government). The 4 ’money guides’ can help anyone—whatever their circumstances—with free, independent advice on a range of financial issues such as savings, insurance, mortgages, retirement planning, and pensions.
