Information Security Engineer LEADING Global eCommerce Retailer Liverpool - £45,000 - £55,000

One of the UK's LEADING Online Retail / Ecommerce organisations currently requires an Information security analyst to join their rapidly expanding team. The role, a senior position within the IT infrastructure/network team is key to the development and maintenance of company information security systems integrity as well as leading future strategies and identifying potential risks.

The successful information security analyst will have relevant industry experience and recognised accreditations. The person will be friendly and personable, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders across the business as well as lending a personality which will build upon company team culture.

Key Responsibilities
To identify risks, threats and vulnerabilities in the company's technology infrastructure.
Oversee all day to day security operations.
Take ownership of information security projects.
Provide reporting and metrics on security issues.
Support in the development of company security policies.
The successful person will have
Industry experience in information security.
Degree level education or relevant technical industry experience.
CISSP/CISM/ISSAP/ISSMP formal accreditation.
Extensive knowledge of network infrastructure Cisco, Firewalls (Checkpoint, ASA etc.), Palo Alto etc.
Extensive knowledge of operating platforms Windows Server, Linux/Unix.
Successfully developed, documented and maintained company security policies and procedures.
Be a team player with strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communications.
