SEN Teacher

Randstad Education are looking for an enthusiastic full-time teacher who is an outstanding practitioner and has a passion for ensuring all pupils achieve their potential. The role will require a teacher that can join in with the ethos of the school and really make a difference.

Job
We are looking for a qualified teacher who is able to manage a class of pupils with a diverse set of needs but who can also offer input to other groups of students from across the school. The role is based in Erdington and is a temporary position for a twelve week placement. The cover will be for Humanities lessons so experience in this sector is essential.

School
The school caters for young people with a range of mental illnesses and eating disorders and provides opportunities that promote a can-do approach for all learners. A teacher who is able to instil confidence in young vulnerable people is essential.

Child
You will collaborate with other staff and subject specialists to ensure that we provide an exciting and visionary curriculum that clearly identifies progress and areas for improvement. You will also have responsibility for the management of a small team of teaching assistants. Good communication skills and the ability to build relations with not only pupils, but colleagues and health advisors is also paramount.
