Are you a confident, professional B2B Sales Executive with a proven track record in consultative sales within the service industry?

My client provides testing and certification services to organisations across the globe, and are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated Business Development Executive / Field Sales Executive to cover the south east of England. This exciting opportunity will be home-based, where you will take responsibility for creating leads, identifying and winning new business across your region. Ideally seeking a proactive, self starter who has experience within the services industry where you will focus on sales growth by maximising opportunities with new clients.  These are mainly a range of certification and training products and solutions for companies looking for quality management standards and certificates.

This role will involve;

  • New business development and solution selling of Certification Audit services and Training solutions (Training standards, training implementation and services)
  • Gaining a full understanding of your prospect clients' business by performing a detailed Needs Analysis and proposing a solution
  • Develop a sales plan to increase sales utilising marketing assets, social media and strategy
  • Proactively identify potential clients and follow up on leads and attend client visits
  • Collaborate with technical teams to win new clients
  • Undertake account management of new clients
  • Build effective relationships with new and existing clients
  • Use the CRM as a sales tool to record and monitor daily sales activities
  • Driven and motivated to work to quarterly targets
  • Provide reports and updates when required
  • Attend sales meetings whenever required
  • Any other duties as and when required


Key skills and Attributes;
Essential

  • Must have a proven track record of sales in the service sector
  • Ability to recognise and maximise new business development opportunities
  • Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within an organisation
  • Regional knowledge of business drivers
  • Able to deliver confident, high quality and engaging presentations
  • Must hold current, clean drivers licence
  • Confident self-starter who demonstrates an ability to overcome objectives during a sales process
  • Must follow a thorough sales cycle and understand key buying signals from clients
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills
  • Must be polished, professional and well presented

Desirable

  • Hold a sales professional or sales related qualification
  • Minimum of degree level education
