Summary of Job Purpose:
Business Analyst with experience in an Agile and Online Delivery Environment.
Working closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, Designers, User Experience and Testers.
You will be responsible for producing, grooming, prioritising and overall timely management of the requirements backlog. A pro-active delivery/user focussed attitude and determination to ensure a seamless transition of requirements between the Business and Development teams. You'll be comfortable facilitating collaborative requirements gathering workshops, design kick off/reviews, planning meetings and stakeholder development demonstrations.
An eye for detail is essential for a high availability and high transaction industry leading telecoms client.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Producing well-formed user stories with design assets and acceptance criteria.
2. Supporting the Product Owner/s in creating high level user stories and timely grooming of user stories for sprints/iteration scheduling.
3. Agile Estimation, Pre-Planning, Planning and Daily Stand-Up meetings.
4. On-going assistance for Developers, Designers and Testers during Sprints/Iterations.
5. Managing expectations of the Business and Product Road Mapping.
6. Working closely with the User Experience and Product Design Teams.
Key Competencies:
Producing & Managing Agile artefacts such User Stories, Backlogs, specifications following the INVEST principle.
Appreciation of technology behind high volume web apps such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and REST API services and how they impact the scope and risk of a story is essential.
Exposure to User Centered Design and Requirements Visualisation/Modelling Techniques.
Knowledge:
Strong understanding and knowledge of:
Agile - Scrum
Eliciting and Capturing Requirements
Test Driven Development (TDD)
Continuous Integration (CI)
Experience:
Business Analysis experience within an Online Delivery Environment.
Mandatory to have exposure to one or more of the following systems:
Responsive or Adaptive Web Applications.
High Transaction/Availability Online Portal.
Native Mobile Application Development.
Multi-Channel E-commerce.
Self-Service Dashboard.
Online Customer Loyalty, Promotion and Voucher Systems.
Experience in SOA and REST API services.
Qualifications:
Ideally Agile Alliance and/or Scrum.org Certified
