Field Sales Executives – Educational Supplies
Brilliant field sales opportunity to join a long established, multi-million pound turnover supplier of Branded Educational Supplies. As part of strategic South east expansion plans we require several dynamic and motivated experienced sales professionals who can think outside the box.
SALARY: Basic salary starts at £26,000 raising to £28,000 after the probationary period with an OTE of £34,000 (which is completely uncapped) fully expensed car, mobile phone, laptop, Blackberry and 20 days holiday
LOCATION: Working from home covering South West London as a territory
Opportunity to join this very, very well established supplier of a diverse range of educational supplies. The product range is contained in several branded catalogues, some quite specialised and others broad, covering stationery, cleaning supplies, through to scientific equipment and sports wear.
This role involves selling across the full product range, thinking laterally and always looking for alternative opportunities. You will be building on existing brand loyalty, selling from new catalogues and selling in new product ranges. Your client base ranges from nurseries and Sure Start centres, through to primary and secondary schools, both private and local authority run, plus universities, colleges, hospitals, prisons and charities.
You will initially be responsible for 100% new business, re-opening lapsed accounts, introducing the company to new schools in order to open new accounts. Every account will be put onto a regular call cycle in order build relationships and grow the portfolio.
Position involves working out in the field 4½ days a week, making 4-6 appointments per day. This is an activity based role for a sales professional looking to be part of an up and coming business.
You will have at least 2 years field sales experience and a stable field sales track record showing sales achievement. Having just taken on a new CRM system, this will help generate and control the lead generation process and assist in the sales process.
We are looking for determined, enthusiastic sales people who are confident, articulate and quick to grasp the brands and services. Whilst experience of selling to schools and the education system is useful, it is not essential. You will be required to project yourself in a professional, assertive manner and be determined to succeed.
