This role presents an exciting and unique opportunity for an Experienced Sales Executive to join a fresh, fast growing company. You will lead the sales function of the company, working closely with the operations department, which will require an individual to have a proactive approach bringing in new ideas and being a core member of the selling team.
The role would be suited to person who wishes to build solid relationships with existing clients and developing business by offering their services only to potential clients who have an actual requirement and always with a courteous and polite manner.
Responsibilities:
- Dealing with incoming telephone enquiries, direct sales and liaising with customers
- Production of sales quotations and following these through to sale
- Support to Operations in coordinating sale agreements
- Logging client information and correspondence in to Sage ACT
- Order updates and tracking
- Meeting sales and KPI targets
- Researching new business verticals
- Cold calling potential clients and building a long term rapport (consultative sale)
- Build rapport with key decision makers and develop and maintain long term relationships as appropriate.
- Building and management of a pipeline of business by generating high-quality and effective sales leads.
- Developing strong corporate relationships
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the marketplace and operate effectively across the Business portfolio on a daily basis.
- Identifying needs and matching services
- Build database of key decision maker contacts
- Arranging client meetings
- Conduct all duties in compliance with the company values and standards at all times.
Experience/qualities:
- Previous sales experience
- Telephone sales to include cold calling
- Understands the importance of agreeing sales in a compliant and professional manner
- Excellent listening skills
- Competent user of standard IT products and packages
- Basic numeracy skills
- Competent literacy skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- An ability to deal with challenges and be able to prioritise work at short notice
- Understanding and knowledge of health & safety industry helpful
Ideal Qualities:
- Technical knowledge within health, safety, fire and first aid industry
- Sage Act

Salary based on basic plus OTE
