A genuinely exciting specification sales role has arisen with this European leader of Time Management Solutions and specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of clock and bell systems. The role will be to develop and create relationships with mechanical & electrical consultants, major building contractors and architects to specify their range of products at the earliest stage possible.

SALARY: £30,000 to £35,000 as a basic salary with an OTE of approximately £50k with a fully expensed company car, pension after 12 months and healthcare after 24 months. You will also receive 20 days holiday which will rise to 25.

LOCATION: Candidates can live anywhere in the South East and will cover London and the South East as a territory

You will be selling a wide range of industrial clocks and timing systems for large organisations such as stations, airports, hospitals and schools, timing devices for sports stadiums and software based Time and Attendance and Staff Scheduling solutions for small, medium and large organisations such as manufacturers, retailers and hotels. You will be creating, developing and maintaining lasting relationships with architects and other specifiers, project managers, consultants, contractors and facilities managers.

You will be responsible for identifying major building contractors, architects and mechanical and electronic consultants which are working on specification projects across a range of industries such as travel, education and health care and create and develop working relationships with them. Identifying construction and refurbishment projects before they reach the specification and tender stage, eensuring the products are detailed in the specifications. Work with the sales team to ensure transition between specification and sale and be responsible for the completion of tender documents.

Successful candidates will have at least 2 years field sales experience and a proven track record within specification sales. A good understanding of electrical and network technologies, and above all, a strong interest in technical subjects. Able and experienced in responding to specification tender documents. A good knowledge of the construction industry will be an advantage. A proven ability to create and develop working relationships.
