Job Summary

As a Customer Service Advisor you will be providing the existing Customer Operations teams with the necessary customer service support to ensure that as a company our client improves and maintains exceptional customer service ratings. You will liaise with both internal stakeholders and external utility customers ensuring any customer queries are managed to the highest quality and there is no adverse effect on their customers.

In this fast paced team there will be a variety of customer care tasks to be undertaken on a daily basis that will broaden your knowledge of the business, enable you to communicate with key stakeholders, and their customers. This role will provide you with a great platform to develop your skills within a customer operations environment. You will also have the opportunity to be considered for permanent roles with the client after the successful completion of 3 months.

Day-to-day duties and responsibilities may include:

• Proactively and regularly ensuring that customers are updated throughout each stage of their ‘Customer experience journey’ and updating them on planned utility work to be carried out on their behalf.
• Interacting with all customers in a timely, professional, efficient and polite manner.
• Ensuring that customers are case-managed through their interactions with the company and being the key contact for any customer queries received.
• Ensuring all customer contact services are delivered in a consistent and compliant manner that is cost effective.
• Maximising productivity in accordance with external contractual requirements.

To be considered for this role - you MUST possess:

• Proven track record of customer service experience - ideally within an Inbound and/or outbound customer operations or call centre environment.
• You should be IT literate, possessing knowledge of Microsoft office packages and be able to adapt to using new software quickly.
