We are looking for a WFO Technical Support Specialist for our leading client in the telecommunications sector. This is a permanent role based in Glasgow with a salary circa £36000 - £39000 based on experience.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • To work as part of a team delivering remote support services to clients
  • To act as a technical escalation point for the service desk
  • You will be on call (either remote or on site) to provide troubleshooting and testing
  • Manage 3d parties/vendors
  • Responsible for interpreting client needs and following incident, change and problem processes to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate for the WFO Technical Support Specialist will have a firm knowledge in contact centre technologies, such as Avaya.

Requirements:

  • Proven capability in WFO support environments supporting bespoke applications
  • TCP/IP networks
  • Previous experience in a 2nd or 3rd line support role
  • Excellent customer service
  • Knowledge including Windows and Linux systems
  • Strong analytical approach
