What's the job?

Middleware Services is a multi-disciplinary team supporting Oracle Fusion Middleware products.

The purpose of the role is:

• To work as a direct report to the Middleware Team Lead
• To work as part of the Middleware team to support, maintain and build Production and non-production systems for Oracle Data Integrator environments
• To work on Projects during various lifecycle phases to provide code deployment, testing and analysis

What will I do?

Technical

• Build and configure Middleware systems using our specific procedures
• Deploy application changes to Middleware systems using our specific procedures
• Provide on-going support of the systems including:

IT Service and customer support

Problem analysis

Incident management

Change management

System Configuration

Operation

• Support project work and Continuous Improvement initiatives:
• Learn about new system functionality to be delivered
• Produce detailed support documentation for new processes and procedures
• Provide knowledge transfer of this information to the rest of the team
• Planning and coordination around technical tasks
• Testing and test team support during various lifecycle phases
• Produce Management Information documents and reports
• Develop and maintain operational support documentation
• Comply with Company policy in relation to health and safety, security and confidentiality
• Work to ITIL standards with regard to Incident, Problem, Change and Risk
• Contribute to the development, application and maintenance of environment security standards

What skills and qualifications do I need?

Desirable Experience

• IT systems administration experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware Products (SOA, ODI, OSB)
• Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Enterprise Computing
• IT project experience and understanding of project and software development lifecycle
• Knowledge of data integration methodologies, strategies and implementations
• Technical infrastructure testing
• Requirement gathering
• Proven track record of delivery and teamwork
