Head of Marketing

Up to GBP45k + Excellent Bens

The Head of Marketing is a new position offering leadership, responsibility and accountability of the Marketing function for our client at a critical time of growth; taking in every aspect of marketing communications across all stakeholder groups, both internal and external. Our client is at a very exciting time and is growing its Marketing team to cover Digital Marketing, Bid Management, Design and Marketing Communications

The Head of Marketing will be responsible for designing and delivering actionable marketing strategies to drive revenue and build brand reputation; developing profitable multi-channel marketing campaigns as well as leading the bid process for several external brands.

Working with a team of five, the role offers a mix of strategic and tactical tasks that will give The Head of Marketing great visibility across the business and allow them to direct the latest ways of delivering marketing communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder management
  • Ensure timely delivery of a multitude of marketing projects and campaigns
  • Analysis to ensure competitive and relevant positioning
  • Develop the customer journey.
  • Develop relationships with appropriate suppliers, third-parties, partners and influencers
  • Work closely with sales and business development.
  • Manage the end-to-end bid response process
  • Develop and execute internal communication and employee engagement strategies.
  • Instil a marketing-led customer-focused ethos throughout the business.
  • Measure and report on the performance of the marketing budget in accordance with marketing objectives.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience within a senior marketing role is essential
  • Strong and proven track record in creating, executing and measuring effective marketing strategies using the full marketing mix, both on-line and off-line
  • Experience working across a number of brands, in a Shared Services or agency environment
  • Experience of selecting and implementing Marketing systems, solutions and services via third party suppliers.
  • Experience in leading, managing and developing a team
  • Internal and external stakeholder relations
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proven experience delivering Bid management services
