Product Designer

Position: Product Designer
Location: Greater Manchester Region
Salary: Negotiable and Competitive Depending on Experience

Creative product designer needed to join the innovative in-house product design team at this Market Leading brand of laundry and cleaning products. They supply FMCG retail with branded and private label products. They have built an outstanding reputation for offering a wide range of innovative, market focused products, constantly evolving their product range and breaking new ground.

They are currently looking to increase their design capacity to allow them to push the brand into new market areas. The successful candidates will be responsible for developing new product ranges under the brand, taking them from initial concepts right through to manufacture.

They have positions available for junior (0-2 years experience), middleweight (2-5 years experience) and senior (5+ years experience) designers.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Degree educated in Product or Industrial Design (or similar discipline)
- Knowledge of SolidWorks software is preferable although other 3D CAD packages will be considered
- Self-motivated and methodical with the ability to work both independently and within a team, on multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to take selected products from concept through to production
- Proficient across Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- An excellent eye for detail is essential
- Creative designer with the technical ability to deliver
