Additional payments for accumulated sleep-in shifts incur circa £5000 per annum

As a Mental Health Recovery Worker with 2Care you will assist in the support and recovery of service users with long-term mental health conditions. The Knowl is a community-based recovery and rehabilitation service providing short-term intensive support to enable service users to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.

The role of Mental Health Recovery Worker involves:

  • Being a keyworker and supporting service users to draw up support plans, enabling them to develop life and social skills
  • Facilitating groups and meetings
  • Assisting in administration and domestic activities associated with running the service
  • Contributing to an environment that respects the dignity, independence and choice of each individual
  • Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and health and safety at all times. 

To join us a Mental Health Recovery Worker, you will need to be able to:

  • Teach/facilitate life and social skills
  • Remain calm in challenging/stressful situations
  • Be creative in finding solutions to unfamiliar situations
  • Work on a shift basis when required.

Sleep-ins are part of the shift system that you will be required to work for which an extra payment is awarded.
