Class C Drivers
36 hours per week
Last year, shop donations helped Oxfam to raise around GBP23m to support people in poverty - a huge contribution that helped to make a difference to thousands of lives. But donations need to be managed and distributed. As an experienced driver based it Batley, that's where you come in. You'll carry out scheduled collections of surplus stock from shops and donation banks, deliver processed stock to customers and transport items to and from warehouses - making careful driving your main priority at all times.
To succeed, you'll need the enthusiasm to carry out routine and often physical tasks - keeping to a schedule and delivering results on time and to target. First rate people skills are a must. As is the ability to work both within a team and on your own initiative. While knowledge of tachograph rules and vehicle regulations mean you're likely to have come from a similar role. Bring all this, plus a clean Class C licence, and you'll soon be putting your experience to use in a role that's more worthwhile.
