Supply Desk are pleased to announce that we are currently looking to recruit for a maternity cover contract in the Caerphilly area within a Secondary School to teach English. Interviews are immediately available to commence employment as soon as possible. The contract will extend until the end of the autumn term at a minimum and may continue after Christmas.
We are looking for English Teachers with the following skills -
• Experience of delivering the subject, ideally up to Key Stage 5 level as the candidate will be expected to teach A Level classes
• Genuine and keen interest in the subject area
• Experience of teaching all areas of English such as Language, Literature and General would be extremely advantageous. Candidates with experience of select areas of the subject will also be considered
• Current knowledge of the National Curriculum would be advantageous
• Committed and enthusiastic attitude towards developing a teaching career
• Strong presence and an approachable, supportive character
• Strong ability to plan lessons effectively and manage behaviour
• Passion for teaching at all levels and ability to cater for all student ability ranges. Experience of teaching SEN students would strengthen application
The job of a teacher is both challenging and ever changing, newly qualified teacher (NQT`s) and experienced applicants are welcome to apply for this post.
