Continued demand for services provided by its Handling and Storage Division means there is now a vacancy for a Design Draughtsperson, based at their offices in Devizes, Wiltshire.

You will be a key part of a team of skilled draughtsmen providing layout, general arrangement, assembly and fabrication detail drawings to support the company’s in-house Project Engineering and Production teams. Using the latest 3D and 2D software to produce construction issue steelwork and other fabrication detail drawings, you will already be familiar with relevant design software, preferably one or more of the following packages; Tekla, Strucad, Advance Steel, Inventor or Solidworks.

You will produce high quality layout drawings, and design and detailing structural steelwork to current BS/Eurocode standards; predominantly industrial and large scale access structures, machine platforms, support steelwork, and steel frame buildings, within a mechanical plant environment etc.

Ideally familiar with standard Green Book connection details, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to visualise the finished assembly and understand how good practical design can improve the efficiency of fabrication and erection.
