Events Executive

An Event based qualification would be beneficial.
Previous event experience essential, preferably in hotels.
Knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering system would be an advantage.
THE ROLE
As Events Executive you will look after all private and corporate events within the Hotel. Your responsibilities include:
Promoting all the hotels facilities and services to achieve the maximum sales revenue and client satisfaction for each event.
You will ensure each booking is handled efficiently from client enquiry through to arrival and departure.
You will maintain an accurate status and administration of all bookings in the Opera system.
You will work closely with the conference and banqueting team
THE PERSON
Communication skills are essential for this role as you will be required to work closely with the Hotel operational teams as well as discussing each event with the client. To ensure the success of every event you will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service and be extremely organised. Absolute attention to detail, the ability to multi task and flexibility are required in response to changing client requests and the fast paced nature of the role.
You will be friendly and approachable; you will go the extra mile for our guests; you will provide highly consistent good service and you will lead by example.
