Teacher of Psychology
An enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Psychology is required for November 2014 or sooner to join our outstanding Social Sciences Department. Psychology is a popular and successful subject at KS5. The ability to teach an additional subject is desirable. Parkside School, created in 2000, is a larger than average comprehensive school situated on the outskirts of Bradford. The school is oversubscribed. The majority of students are White British. The number of students who speak English as an additional language is very low. Standards on entry to the school are average. The number of students entitled to free school meals is much lower than average. At the time of the inspection the percentage of students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities (including those with statements of educational need) was higher than the national average.
