With a very strong branded proposition their market share has continued to grow due to the professionalism & valued service that they provide to our clients. As a result of success and our growing reputation in this sector we now have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join the business in the Hertfordshire area. The role will be centered on managing, developing and directly controlling a team of inventory counters to ensure that all inventory KPI’s and compliance targets are met.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Exceed all Operational Business Objectives, whilst continuing to support the development of the infrastructure to ensure controlled expansion.
- Develop, train, monitor and provide general direction to inventory managers to ensure the successful performance of their principle duties and exceed all company targets.
- Through tight controls and manpower/succession planning with the Managing Director and Human Resources Manager continue to develop the infrastructure of the company to ensure controlled expansion.
- Direct budgetary control and responsibility of the Operational Profit
- Ensure that each office within the Company is effective in staffing, developing, training and motivating employees, fostering teamwork, cost containment and the creation of a positive environment to increase productivity and avoid employee relations issues.
- Coach and hold accountable inventory managers to lead these efforts creatively through their direct reports, and therefore achieve their own self development goals.
- Ensure the safety of employees in the organization, while traveling to customer sites and while performing inventories at the customer sites through training and monitoring of subordinate managers.
