Project Supervisor

The Role
Following our recent successes and on-going commitments, we are seeking dynamic and results driven individuals, with a proven track record of team supervision, to cover all aspects of running a newly setup Land Based project (on-site or off-site), based in the local community. This is an on-going project giving practical work experience opportunities, offering a very wide range of activities to support the unemployed and help them gain relevant experience. The project's aim is to help to develop and maintain diverse environments and to support the local community. You will have a genuine commitment to the personal and occupational success of the long term unemployed with an ability to build customer's self-confidence and motivation. You will also be confident in working with large groups and be able to actively support customers with varied levels of work experience.

Duties to include.
Manage delivery to clients on managed placement projects across the area of responsibility.
Identifying ways of improving service delivery and implementing improvements where necessary.
Supervise attendees, ensuring Health & safety standards are met.
Support Embedded provider and customer led job search to participants on managed placement/projects to enable customers to move into employment.
Liaise with key project stakeholders eg Local Authority, Voluntary/Community Sector Organisations to agree key objectives and work schedule and priorities for the project.
Monitor and record attendance.
Maintain portfolio and provide feedback.
Carrying out reviews and monitor activity, provide customer support and assistance that progresses them through the programme and into work.

Skills and Experience
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a genuine commitment to the personal and occupational success of the long term unemployed. With an ability to build customer's self-confidence and motivation to help them achieve their aspirations and put them firmly on the road to lasting employment. Applicants have to be confident in working with large groups of clients and be able to actively support clients with varied levels of work experience. Previous Land Based experience (aquaculture; horticulture; landscaping; agriculture; conservation; engineering; forestry etc) is highly desirable.

Additional Info
Salary up to GBP24K Full Driving Licence, own vehicle and full business insurance required.
