A rapidly expanding company with a fast growing regional network of stunning Design Centres is looking for a Senior Showroom Assistant to support their existing sales team. Their quality, value and service, are shaped by their philosophy towards business.

Responsibilities:

- Support the Retail Manager in all aspects of day to day running of the showroom, including key holding responsibilities.
- Deputising for the Retail Manager in their absence.
- Meet and greet all showroom visitors and assist them in any enquiries they may have
- Lead by example to give excellent customer service, promoting all product ranges and adding on sales
- Process all retail sales, taking orders, managing cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain a clean, tidy and well laid out showroom space
- Manage stock levels on the shop floor and stockroom
- Assist in product display and merchandising
- Answer any telephone enquiries and put forward sales leads for the Designers
- Assist the Administrator and Head Office with administrative paperwork
- To be aware of Health and Safety and security issues on the shop floor

Skills and Experience:

- Proven experience in a Retail role selling some form of design led product - kitchens, bathrooms, and/or interior furnishings or within the home/fashion retail sector.
- Excellent customer service skills
- A passion for detail, a flair for sales and an understanding of good design.
- Exceptional attention to detail with store standards and product merchandising
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills both face to face and on the telephone
- Good personal presentation and rapport building skills
- Previous Management experience beneficial but not essential.
