Geography Teacher

A smaller than average secondary school for boys located in Hillingdon, London, are seeking a teacher of Geography and Citizenship. The role commences in November 2014 and whilst temporary, it has the possibility of becoming permanent.

There are 520 pupils in the school aged between 11-18 years, of which 94 are in the sixth form. The school's extensive playing fields and impressive gymnasium allow the school to offer a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities which contribute to broadening students' social, moral and cultural horizons and develop a sense of community within the school.

The Ofsted inspection in November 2013 rated the school a grade 3. Governors and school leaders are committed to ensuring the success of the school and are fully aware of the strengths of the school and the areas for development.

London Heathrow airport is less than 5 miles away from the school, with international flights flying daily. The city centre of London is also less than an hour from the school by car.

To be eligible to apply for this post you are required to be a qualified teacher or a teacher who is qualifying before September 2014.
