Uteach present an exciting opportunity for a teacher of History to cover a maternity post from January 2015 until April 2015. This is a smaller than averaged size secondary school located in Buckinghamshire, a beautiful county to the North West of London.

The school has 870 pupils of mixed gender aged 11-18 years old, of which 130 are in the sixth form. Relationships in the sixth form are excellent. Students in turn play a significant part in the school and wider community and take their responsibilities as role models very seriously.

The school offers a variety of extra curricular activities including; drama, creative writing, art, sports teams and many more. There is also a strong community programme in place in the local area and links with schools in France and Germany.

The school has great transport links, with four train stations within 4 miles of the school and London Heathrow airport 25 minutes from the school via car.

Ofsted rated the school as satisfactory in November 2010, with pupils behaviour rated as 'Good' with Ofsted confirming that students respond well to the school's effective behaviour management strategies. The governing body is passionate and supportive about raising standards and is aware of the school's
