IQPC is an international conference company producing in excess of 1500 events every year across defence, energy, finance, pharmaceutical, technology, telecoms and shared services. We have offices in 8 locations globally and the London office is looking for a business development manager to join the expanding team.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for securing sponsorship revenue on our international conferences. You will be selling on multiple conferences over the course of the year, you will be expected to grow revenue from a base of existing clients but we also need someone who has the ability and drive to source new business.

The Role: Business Development Manager
  • Selling sponsorship solutions across international events
  • Growing new business with blue chip organisations
  • Managing existing accounts and building relationships
  • International travel
  • Networking at events
  • Attending weekly training sessions designed for the sponsorship sales department
  • Conducting monthly revenue forecasts, sales reports and manage a sales pipeline

The Candidate

The Business Development Manager will have solid B2B sales experience in ideally one of the following sectors: media sales, delegate sales, sponsorship sales or recruitment.
