Our client is looking for a Project Manager for a Big Lottery funded project testing new ways of improving service outcomes for children and families. The project involves a partnership of three Voluntary and Community Organisations (local partners). Together they support families in Pershore, Redditch and Worcester.

You will be responsible for managing a team of six staff employed by the local partners to share learning, help provide updates for the lottery and help organise a half day conference. Supporting a customer focussed service to families you will ensure that issues of safeguarding are effectively managed. 

They are looking for the successful candidate to support a culture of continuous improvement, evaluation of outcomes and promote changes to improve the service. Within this role you will also support the recruitment, management and development of staff. You will prepare reports for Board and Managers as required and manage the project budget where necessary.

The successful candidate for this role will have experience of engaging with individuals and families with complex needs. With experience of working in a busy and diverse environment you will have excellent knowledge of implementing procedures for safeguarding vulnerable people. With the ability to listen and build a consensus with a range of people and organisations, you must be an excellent communicator. 

Although not essential a related professional qualification would be advantageous.
