Our client is the UK’s leading food solutions business, supplying all major food retailers, wholesalers and foodservice companies with a wide range of quality products, including a comprehensive range of high quality pork, bacon and cooked meats and convenience and snacking.
 
Job details:
They are currently looking for Production operatives to join the Processing and Joints teams based in Bugle. They also have Night Hygiene Operative vacancies
 
The Production team operative’s main responsibility tasks will be to ensure the preparation of the product is carried out as directed by customer specification. You will ensure that all work is completed in line with quality and health and safety standards.
 
Operatives working in the Hygiene department will be responsible for the cleaning of all factory equipment and will work to specified hygiene standards.
 
Shift patterns:
There are a range of shifts on offer:
Rotating day shift Monday – Friday (40 hours per week; early and lates)
4 on 4 off shift (42 hours per week)
Night Shift  (40 hours per week)
Twilight Shift (16 hours per week – Mon - Fri)
Twilight and Weekends (Flexible hours 16 – 40 hours per week)
 
Successful candidates:
You will ideally have previous experience from within a similar role although full operational training will be provided. Manual handling experience will be an advantage and you will have a basic knowledge of H&S and food safety awareness. They are looking for team players with the ability to learn.  Good attendance is essential. You will be flexible and able to work in a chilled food environment.
 
Candidates invited for interview will need to be over 18 and have I.D. documents (either a passport or full birth certificate and supporting national insurance document) and details of 2 working references.  Own transport is required due to the location and the start times of the shifts.
