Business Analyst - retail

My client is a fast growing retailer who specialises in shoes and accessories. They are looking for a strong Business Analyst to provide a strong link between the business community and the IT department. The Business Analyst will have experience in all the ares of retail and be able to advise on operational processes; making recommendations for improvements and changes.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

. Understand the business processes and how they are aligned to the systems within the business
. Conduct interviews/workshops, with stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for new requests
. Review the final specifications with the project team (stakeholder(s) to ensure that all aspects of an application' requirements meet the needs of the end user
. Assess the impact of planned development on existing systems and processes, identifying risks and roadblocks
. Assisting in the preparation of a business cases with the stakeholder(s)
. Manage the requirements throughout the entire product development process

Experience required:

. 3+ years' experience in Business Analysis within retail
. Good IT and Operational awareness
. Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal at all levels
