MPIC have the requirement for a Senior Structural Engineer with the following skills and experience.
Have the knowledge of concept design, buildability, detail design, construction techniques and risk assessments.
Extensive knowledge and experience of major structures in terms of loading, response and design processes.
Chartered preferred
Awareness of H and S legislation. Inc CDM 2007
Knowledge of STAAD, Solidworks, Autocad prefered.
Be able to produce design calculations in accordance with Euorcodes.
Knowledge of DNV an advantage
Be able to work as part of a small team and be prepared to mentor junior and Graduate engineers in the team.
