Senior Test Analyst
Senior Test Analyst
London
Everyone here works as one to ensure the stability of the UK's economy. Technology plays a huge role in our productivity and success. You'll make sure that we continue moving forward.
The challenge
Put simply, you'll help build the robust applications and infrastructure upon which the Bank needs to rely. You'll turn your expertise to projects ranging from focused system changes to high value, high impact external systems. With every one, you'll analyse requirements and then design bespoke test plans and procedures in response. You'll execute tests too - reporting results, logging defects and supporting other members of the testing team. And you'll take every opportunity to refine and enhance our testing processes.
The requirements
Analytical and details focused, with ISTQB/ISEB Foundation level certification or the equivalent level of knowledge, you're more than up to the challenge. You know how to deliver at every stage of the project lifecycle, and you're equally comfortable working in either an agile or waterfall environment. What's more, your experience includes the following:
• Testing types including functional, non-functional, regression, integration, UAT and OAT.
• Creating and maintaining test conditions, test specifications and test scripts.
• Test execution using manual methods and automated testing tools on complex user interfaces and GUI applications.
• Risk analysis and risk based testing.
• Exploratory testing and techniques.
The opportunity
Our aim has been the same for 300 years; to maintain a stable economy for the people of the UK. But how we've done this has evolved constantly. Today, driven by technology, it's changing faster than ever before. You'll keep this going. Joining our diverse and expert IT team, you'll help people across the Bank work more securely and effectively, wherever they are. This will allow us to keep making the progress that really matters - which is why we'll give you the training and support you need to make progress too.
