As a nation-wide provider of refrigeration, mechanical, electrical and other core building services we are currently looking for a Service Controller to join our team based in Birmingham offering a salary of up to £16,000 pa plus onsite parking and benefits.
The successful candidate will be responsible for allocating work to engineers within your allocated region in an efficient manner.
Your role as Service Controller will be made up of:
• Allocate calls to engineers in accordance with the Service level agreements across the client base within allocated region
• Follow customer requirements in order to ensure chargeable work can be conducted i.e. ensure quoted works raised to appropriate personnel for authorisation
• Keep the Service Administration Manager informed of any calls that are at risk of failing their SLA before 50% of their time has expired.
• Maintain acceptable level of backlog / open calls - Quantity / Age
• Consistently monitor and plan engineer workload for all open calls to progress to completion
• Ensure the customer is kept informed of job progress and attempt to resolve issues in a proactive manner
• Be knowledgeable of client and engineer locations within allocated area to ensure that the allocation of calls is the most effective
• Generate reports as required for both internal and external customers
• Support and update 3rd party systems as necessary
The ideal Service Controller will have the following skills and experiences:
• Have previous experience of working within a service based organisation
• Be computer literate - Good skills in Excel
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to organise and priortise workload effectively
• Experience Coordinating people and your workload
In return you will receive a salary of up to £16,000 pa plus 25 days holiday plus statutory bank holidays pa, onsite parking, a qualifying pension scheme and access to exclusive Group online discounts.
