Following the award of an exciting new contract within the region we currently have an opportunity for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to join the team of an expanding national supplier of refrigeration, air conditioning and building services.
This role is based working across multi sites within the retail / supermarket sector, previous experience of which is essential.
The role is based in the North East / North Yorkshire region and is offering a basic salary of up to £32,000 plus overtime. £38,000+ earnings including overtime is achievable with this role.
You will be working as one of a team of engineers to provide service to the clients within the region. Your duties as M&E Engineer will include:
• To undertake reactive service & fault finding repairs on equipment within your region within set time frames to ensure customer expectations are met.
• To take a proactive approach to PPM works within your area to ensure the highest standards are maintained
• Be part of a team covering 24/7 service including standby/shift rota (core working hours are Monday to Friday 40hrs per week)
• Work to consistently meet the KPI levels set out in the contract within your stores
• Update and complete PDA and paperwork on time
You will have the following skills and experiences:
• Relevant Mechanical & Electrical Qualifications
• F Gas (C&G 2079) - (Advantageous)
• Commercial heating qualifications - (Advantageous)
• Be able to work from technical drawings & specifications without the need for direct supervision
• Previous service and maintenance experience within the retail / supermarket sector
• Be Health & safety conscious
• Be Customer focused
• Have a clean, full UK driving licence
In return we will offer you a basic salary of up to £32,000 dependent upon experience plus;
