DIGITAL DESIGNER - GBP35,000 to GBP45,000 - Shoreditch - Media Firm
We are looking for an intelligent, thoughtful problem solver who can take a digital service from concept to realisation.
An experienced digital designer who has excellent ideation, visualisation and communication skills, you will be expected to craft functionally innovative and visually beautiful interfaces for a complex digital service as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will come from an interface, service, visual or product design background. We expect you to have at least 4 years of experience in digital design and be able to demonstrate your experience with a strong portfolio of work and the ability to communicate your thinking clearly and articulately.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Rapidly sketching on a whiteboard crafting pixel-perfect UI elements
- Conduct a range of activities from conceiving ideas to crafting documentation (scenarios, wireframes, flows)
- Stakeholder management and presenting ideas
- Exploring design principles using mood boards and other physical media
- Understanding of latest technologies and web trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative suite on Mac (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Can prepare prototypes
- Create Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop templates suitable for implementation by a Front End Engineer or Mobile App Developers
- To work with a number of projects
