An exciting opportunity has arisen for a staff nurse of either RNLD or RNMH qualification to join the team at our clients residential care home with nursing situated in Hartlepool.

The service delivers 24 hour care and support for up to 6 people in self contained bespoke apartments adapted to meet their individual needs which include learning disability and complex needs as well as people who have additional mental and physical ill-health and behaviours.

The focus is rehabilitation and the improvement of the health and well-being of the service users, developing trusting relationships and attaining positive outcomes. Service users are encouraged to identify and achieve their own personal aspirations using person centred thinking and approaches.

Responsibilities include

Assist the care needs of patients and the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of individual care plans.

Take an active role in providing a safe and therapeutic environment for all who use and work in the home.
To undertake a professional role in line with Code of Professional Conduct: Standards for Conduct, Performance and Ethics 2004, and all other NMC Guidelines.

Support the Charge Nurses and Senior Staff Nurses, in delivering 24-hour care and management of ward based in-patient services.
To safeguard the patients and meet their ongoing care needs.

The role Will be full time hours on a rotational rota with an offered salary of GBP23 - GBP27k for the right experience.

To be eligible you must have the following

Experience of working with mental health conditions and complex care requirements in a similar environment (min 12 months experience)
NMC pin and either the RNLD or RMN qualification
Excellent attention to detail, well organised and responsive
