Our Client is a leading public service provider, serving thousands of people across – Europe and Australasia. Their core mission is to improve people’s lives. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services, including employment and welfare, training, education and money and legal advice.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Manager (internally known as Area Leader) to join them where you will lead and drive the performance of the Wales team to ensure the very best customer experience is provided to optimise sustainable job outcomes. Developing and nurturing strong mutually beneficial partnerships with Job Centre Plus to position our Client as the provider of choice, you will continuously grow and transform the operation to achieve and exceed challenging contractual targets.

Within the role of the Regional Manager, you will establish key relationships and deliver contractual obligations with DWP, constantly monitoring and managing to grow and improve performances. Interpreting key management information in order to understand and drive the levers that create sustainable job outcomes, you will ensure that job outcomes and customer satisfaction is maximised whilst demonstrating contractual compliance through quality measures and auditable processes.

Being responsible for the maximisation of sustainable outcomes by ensuring that both internal and external agents are delivering the interventions required and that all tools are utilised, you will drive performance and continuously review the delivery model to make sure it meets the needs of all customer groups in all locations. Through compelling leadership, you will ensure all managers in your area are engaged and focused whilst effectively managing the performance of the team thus ensuring a high performance is consistently delivered.

As the ideal candidate, you will have proven expertise in building effective relationships across a wide range of disciplines and levels of management, both internally and externally. With a record of achievement in developing, managing and delivering against contractual performance and quality standards, you will have a proven track record in leading and motivating multi-disciplinary teams and previous experience of managing a significant Profit and Loss account(s).

With the ability to have a long term outlook on the capability and financial growth, you will be customer focused, and have the skill to impact and influence whilst having commercial and financial acumen, and good leadership skills. Previous experience of managing multiple businesses across a geographical area is key, as is working knowledge of growing and developing both from a business and people perspective. Management experience at area level from a Welfare to work or Service industry is preferred but not essential.
