Linc Care operates across South Wales and provides homes and services to older and vulnerable people.

Llys Enfys Extracare Scheme in Llanishen is a high quality community housing and care scheme for older people which has been developed in partnership with Cardiff City Council. The scheme comprises 102 self-contained apartments.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our highly motivated team, to assist the Chef Manager in preparing meals for elders; ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained throughout the kitchen and dining areas.  

Specific duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of the dining areas prior to the service of meals.

• Setting up and cleaning tables, washing up and serving meals.

You will enjoy working in a team and have a positive attitude to supporting your colleagues and the elders. You will also take pride in cleanliness and organisation on shift, understanding that Health and Safety and Food Safety are essential in the workplace. You must also be passionate about food and customer service, ideally have worked in a similar role and be prepared to work some weekends.
