We are currently working on a great opportunity for a PR & Communications Manager to join an international law firm on a 12 month FTC. You will be reporting into the Director of PR & Communications and will have line management responsibility for a PR Assistant. The purpose of the role is to support all internal and external communications activities for the firm.
Key responsibilities include handling all media enquiries and responding directly to journalists, acting as a deputy to the Director and attending meetings and briefings with Partners and journalists as required. You will also be required to pitch individual lawyers to relevant trade press as expert commentators and will also be responsible for preparing briefing notes for Partners and leading and managing the firm&rsquos directory submissions.
In order to successfully apply for the role, you will be degree educated or equivalent and will have previous PR and communications experience gained within a professional services environment. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrable experience of advising and influencing stakeholders and excellent attention to detail.
