Our client is looking for a Traineeship Tutor to join their team in London.
The company are one of the UK's leading training providers delivering Traineeships, Employability and Apprenticeships and they are expanding their new Traineeship team.
It is absolutely essential that candidates have a teaching qualification as well as proven experience of working with learners aged 16-19 years within a training role.
You will need a flexible approach, excellent communication skills, along with the ability to motivate and engage with learners. This role will involve travelling to centres across the region.
This role will be focusing on the Traineeship programme. You will be responsible for delivering Employability and Vocational skills to groups of 16-19 years olds that are not in Education, Employment or Training. In addition there will be delivery of Functional Skills, Hospitality and Service Sector VRQs. The ability to deliver Functional skills in Maths and English is essential.
This exciting position, within a quality driven organisation, will allow you to draw on your experience of working with young people to provide NEET jobseekers with employability skills and a stepping stone towards an apprenticeship.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
-Delivering literacy and numeracy Functional Skills
-Delivering training in a classroom environment
-Using your teaching qualification to work with young learners
-Provision of employability skills
-Delivering accredited training
-Delivering first class, outstanding teaching and learning
-Developing fit for purpose curriculum that differentiates for all learner needs
-Offering a vibrant and engaging teaching style
-Coaching and mentoring young people to overcome barriers to learning
-Working with NEET Learners
