About Us

At HiETA we deliver advanced engineering solutions using our expertise in design for additive manufacturing including Selective Laser Melting (SLM) and Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS).

Due to expansion within the technical team we are currently seeking applications from talented and experienced engineering professionals to apply for the role of Technical Lead. With an emphasis of industrial product lifecycle development experience the successful applicant will have an aptitude for heat exchange or fluid dynamics as well as engineering systems development.

About the role

The role reports directly to the Technical Director and you will be working in a Matrix Management environment, responsible for vertical project as well as horizontal specialisms. Overseeing the technical delivery of the assigned area, developing and embedding approach and capability the successful applicant will also be responsible for knowledge capture and development.

Duties will include:

• Review existing portfolio and report on development opportunities
• Develop process assessment
• Understanding processes and ways of working
• Support and guidance for the technical team
• Business process and reporting
• Business development and strategy support

About you

To be considered for the role you should have the following essential technical engineering experience:

• Significant experience in industrial and innovating product lifecycle development
• Engineering system development and testing
• Established project and development methodology experience
• Engineering degree or equivalent engineering apprenticeship
• Management experience within a product development team

You should be able to build focused and resilient teams, leading by example and having a consistent approach. This role would interest an experienced engineer looking for a challenging role with an opportunity to make an impact on a growing team working within a fast growing technology.

We are offering an annual salary of up to £65,000 per annum with a range of company benefits and 25 days holiday.
