Route One Recruitment are working exclusively with a leading software/system provider based in Mansfield. Due to continued success and a large growth in the number of clients, they are now looking to recruit another 1st Line Support Technician to join their hugely successful support teams.
As a 1st Line Support Technician your main responsibilities will be to provide remote technical support from incident resolution to escalation, call logging and working towards service level agreements. It is essential that you have a friendly, outgoing approach towards both customers and other members of staff. Also, from time to time you may be expected to provide on-site support for new projects and installations.
You do not need to have any IT Support experience - just a good understanding of IT and a passion for IT Support.
It would be beneficial if you had Helpdesk or Technical Customer Support experience over the phone but it's not essential - it would also be preferred if you had some of the below skills;
SQL Querying
Basic AIX, Unix
Knowledge of ITIL
