A Senior IT Solutions Architect is required to join a leading global provider of integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions to automotive dealerships and manufacturers in more than 100 countries worldwide for the world's biggest car brands.

Purpose of the Role

You will be taking up a newly created position, working closely with their VP Technology to deliver a major programme of change within their technology platforms. You will play a key role in designing & implementing enterprise scale technical solutions to transform the way they build and deliver their next generation products.

You will demonstrate technical leadership and innovation to make a significant contribution in advancing the quality and functionality of their products. On a daily basis your focus area will be the end-to-end delivery model for their next generation product suite and the underlying technology stack.

You will use your knowledge of contemporary technologies, practices and architectures along with excellent technical judgement to design innovative solutions to the problems you work on and be able to see them through to completion.

Part of this role involves participating actively in refining their architectural roadmap and you should be able to articulate how proposed technology solutions best meets the needs of their overall business strategy.

To be considered for this position, you will need the following key skills and experience:

- Experience designing & implementing enterprise level solutions using a wide-range of appropriate technologies
- Experience with working in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments
- Experience of Agile development methodologies, e.g. Scrum & Kanban
- Extensive experience of software development
- Excellent judgement in technology decisions
- Demonstrable ability to organize and present complex solutions clearly and accurately.
- Demonstrable ability to relate technical solutions to business strategy
- The willingness to coach and mentor other team members.
