Home Based / Nationwide Field Sales
Up to GBP27,000 basic - OTE upwards of GBP40K at year one (uncapped)
Our client is a successful and well established Access Control and ID solutions company providing exceptional services to customers.
They are currently looking for a Solutions Consultant to join their business who will be responsible for driving sales and developing new business with existing and new accounts throughout the UK and Ireland.
You will generate new clients via telephone, email and face to face selling. Existing accounts and leads will be supplied but proactive lead generation will also be expected.
MAIN DUTIES
To manage customers throughout the whole sales cycle:
- Prospecting - by cold calling, following up warm customer leads as well as generating new business leads
- Proposal - reflect the services and products through written or electronic presentations.
- Presentations and demonstrations of products and solutions
- Set up and attend customer meetings to present and demonstrate the company's solutions
- Advise customers (and prospects) on forthcoming product developments, special promotions and to inform of potential implications for their organisation
- Setting up customer accounts
- Negotiate variations in price, delivery and specifications to close sales
- On-going account management - check on progress of orders, nurture existing relationships and acquire new business along the way via meetings, courtesy telephone calls and emails
- Exhibitions - To represent and promote the company by attending trade exhibitions, conferences and seminars as required
- Responsible for keeping all presentations up-to-date with new products and new features etc
You will manage your own diary in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals and also ensure the CRM database is kept up to date with detailed notes of calls and appointments.
You will be responsible for regularly monitoring and reviewing your own sales performance in accordance with individual targets - delivering sales plans, reports and forecasting activity on a regular basis to the line manager.
Attendence to regular sales and review meetings will also be involved.
This is a home / field based role. The job holder will be required to travel throughout the UK, with regular overnight stays. Early months would require frequent visits to the Leeds office for training. Monthly visits to the Head office in Leeds and regular visits to the p roduction office in High Wycome will be required.
Person Specification:
- Experienced in new business sales and account management
- Experience in the development of new channels and accounts
- Experienced in B2B and B2commercial sales
- Ideally access control sales experience - technology/facilities sales also welcome
- Practised presenter to groups of all levels
- Experienced in working on own initiative
- Software/Technical knowledge
- Commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent communication skills: highly articulate and effective listener
- Outstanding professional telephone skills
- Car driver with valid driving license for UK
