Job Title: Health & Social Care Assessor

Location: Essex

Salary: £18K - £21K plus travel allowance and Fuel Card

Contract: Permanent

Our client is a prestigious training company based in Nottingham and are looking to recruit a qualified Health & Social Care assessor in the Essex area whom is willing to work within Essex, Oxfordshire and Norfolk.

Role:

• Support the delivery of our clients work based qualifications
• Managing a caseload of learners through to timely completion
• Managing your own diary
• Adherence to quality and assessment processes and procedures
• Reviewing learner progress
• To complete and maintain paperwork to the required standards
• Motivate and support learners to achieve in line with agreed targets and deadlines
• To develop and implement an individual learning plan for all learners
• Ensure learners are correctly and timely registered on the correct qualifications

Person Specification

Essential

• You will need to be a qualified Assessor and hold a CAVA. TAQA, A1 or D32 / D33 Assessing Award
• Experience of Work Based Training
• Proven track record of delivery of Functional/Key Skills
• Occupational experience of working within Health and Social Care
• Experience in delivering Health and Social Care vocational qualifications to a minimum of Level 3
• PTLLS Level 3
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Self-motivated and the ability to guide learners to achievement within a timely manner
• A clean driving licence

Desirable

• Training qualifications for other frameworks
• Additional knowledge or an understanding of Business Improvement Techniques and lean methodology
