The job
- Preferably recent experience of teaching pupils with PMLD/SEN within a SEN setting
-Excellent subject specialist knowledge
- Strong behaviour management skills
- Ability to plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons
- Only applications from Qualified Teachers will be accepted

The school

The school is well led and managed. It specialises in supporting learners who have various difficulties including autistic spectrum disorder and moderate or severe learning difficulties. They apply a holistic approach to learning, and work closely with speech therapists, the school doctor and nurse, as well as outside agencies to enable all children and young people with special educational needs to access the curriculum.

The child

Pupils make good progress and achieve well across a wide range of subjects. They enjoy a supportive environment and have strong, respectful relationships with the team


The ideal candidate would have experience of teaching SEN/EBD students and have a passion for supporting and encouraging students through a whole child approach.
