German Speaking Physics Graduate

The world's foremost supplier of Optical Component technology seeks a Physics Graduate (BSc, MSc or PhD), ideally with an Optics, Optoelectronics or Electro-Optics focus and strong German Language skills, who is keen to work in a highly technical Optical Sales environment in a role where Technical and Sales training will be provided.

This is a highly varied role where as a Sales and Application Engineer you will be working across a range of imaging, photonics and Opto high technology markets including Biotechnology, Semiconductors and Instrumentation. You will interact directly with technologists as you aid design-in and development of their Optical products from providing technical support to price and delivery quotations.

This exciting opportunity is for someone who wants to utilize the full breadth of their technical knowledge, interacting with a broad range of physics applications / technologies, where in a more commercial environment you will also have a driven desire to win a sale applying these technical strengths.

BSc Hons+ in Physics with a fluency in German and excellent communication skills as someone who is articulate in expressing a concept and technical detail is essential. An interest in Optics technology is highly desirable, including optical systems comprising Lenses, Beamsplitters, Prisms, Lasers, Electro-Optics, Photodiodes, Optical Tables, etc…
