Randstad Education are looking for a long term English teacher in the Doncaster area
We are currently recruiting for a History Teacher in Sheffield. This long term post is temporary due to sickness and will commence in September with an expected return date ofApril 2015.
The Job
Long term teacher who can plan and mark work as a permenant member of staff
5 days per week.
Teaching up to GCSE Level
The School
The academy is much larger than other secondary schools and the largest in Doncaster. The
sixth form is also very large.
There is growing proportion of students from minority ethnic backgrounds and those who speak English as an additional
language.
The proportion of students with special educational needs who are supported at the level known
as school action is below average. The proportion supported at school action plus, or with a
statement of special educational needs, is also below average.
The proportion of students supported by the pupil premium is above average. Pupil premium
funding supports those who are known to be eligible for free school meals and those in the care
of a local authority.
We are looking for a Qualified English Teacher who can:
- Ensure consistency in teaching and progression during the teacher's sickness leave
- Develop good relationships with pupils and staff
- Teach lessons in accordance to the school policy
- Deal with any emergencies or problems
