Junior Estimator

Job Elements: -

• Duties will be ensuring enquiries are responded to and quoted efficiently and commercially, within the companies’ guidelines.
• To process RFQ’s recording all relevant information.
• Monitor targets and workflow making commercial decisions based on current situations, using own initiative and taking advice when necessary from senior members of the team.
• To give support / assistance to sales team as and when required.
• Preparing and submitting quotations
• Assistance with pricing tenders and assistance in specifying products
• Assist in costing for new projects
• Helping with bids for new contracts

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced Excel capabilities
• Experience of using Microsoft Office programs including Outlook to a high level
• Experience of talking to customers/clients
• Previous experience of an Estimating Role.
