Marketing Assistant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a vibrant and successful HR consultancy in Basingstoke as their part-time Marketing Assistant. Ideally you will have two or more years' experience as a Marketing Assistant or Administrator or be studying a marketing degree and looking for the perfect gap year placement or you may be able to work part time whilst studying.

Reporting to the Managing Director and Marketing Consultant you will be at the heart of helping to drive marketing initiatives and making the marketing strategy come alive. It is a creative and engaging role with lots of variety covering marketing activities and providing HR administration support as required. Working on a mix of projects, you will gain exposure to a wide range of activities, including:-

- Website maintenance and updates
- Organising and updating the company and client databases
- Using the right social media to reach our target market
- Assist with the design and launch of email campaigns
- Assisting with the content and layout of our newsletters and blogs
- Analysing and reporting marketing activity and results
- Regular contact with our clients
- Preparing presentations and marketing material
- Managing seminars and other events using Eventbrite
- HR and general administration

You will possess:-

- Meticulous attention to details and take pride in your work
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Sound understanding of the principles of marketing
- Ability to overcome obstacles and make things happen
- Strong I.T skills and an eagerness to keep up-to-date with technology and social media
- Creative and an idea's person
- Happy to muck in and do whatever's needed to support the team
- Enthusiastic and energetic person

The ideal candidate:

A Marketing Assistant or Marketing Administrator with two or more years' experience or someone studying a marketing degree. Based in Basingstoke or within a 15 mile radius that is looking for a part-time role and is able to work during school holidays.

What they offer:

- Salary £20,000pa FTE, dependant on experience
- Part-time role working 16 hours a week, across 3 days (Mon 9:30am to 5.30pm, Weds 12:45 to 5.15pm and Friday 1.30pm to 5.30pm)
- 22 days holiday
